Cu

Cu extends the history as hypnosis series through print and object-based work. Screen-printed poem is by the artist's brother, Matthew Nguyen and serves as the counter-mythology to Nguyen's cinematic work. "Cu" details a family outing in a dilapidated limousine to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. The work merges absurdity, family history, and the aftermath of the American war in Vietnam. Full poem here.
